The National AI Movement Headquarters Announces 'Top 10 Strategies for AI Popularization'

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] The AI National Movement Headquarters, established in October last year with the goal of popularizing artificial intelligence (AI), announced the 'Top 10 Strategies for AI Popularization' on the 8th.

The government announced its national AI strategy last month, setting the goal of becoming "the country that utilizes AI the best." It also stated plans to innovate the education system so that all citizens can effectively use AI and to cultivate world-class AI talent. In this regard, the AI National Movement Headquarters explained, "There are limitations to government-level measures, and there are partial issues with the previously announced strategies. We created the popularization strategy with the intention of leading and spreading AI popularization at the private sector level."

Lee Jang-woo, co-chairman of the AI National Movement Headquarters and chairman of the Korea AI Forum, and Moon Hyung-nam, head professor at Sookmyung Women's University Graduate School of Business, said, "The government, related industries, and academia should also pay attention to the Top 10 Strategies for AI Popularization." The headquarters held its inaugural ceremony in November last year with 360 members, and currently has 473 members.
