서양화가 김태용…충만한 세계로 이끄는 색의 흔적

화면 앞에 서면 눈에 들어오는 것은 거친 붓질로 자리 잡은 원색들과 그 사이를 가로지르는 선들이 전부이다. 백일몽(白日夢)처럼 화려한 환상이 눈부시게 빛을 발하고 있으나 그것의 근원으로 연결해줄 논리적 해석의 코드는 존재하지 않는다. 나아가 서술이나 형식도 모두 배재된 채 무의식의 세계에서 토해낸 색의 흔적만이 우연히 자리하고 있을 뿐이다.
