Heightening the excitement of Asia’s biggest film festival, popular Korean singers will heat up Busan this week by celebrating the 17th Busan International Film Festival.
Catching the visitors' eyes the most is PSY, who has kept the No. 2 status for two weeks in a row on the coveted Billboard singles chart with his smash-hit tune “Gangnam Style.”
The 36-year-old rapper is expected to show his invisible horse-riding dance at the “2012 Lotte Night Party: Red Secret,” which will be held at the Busan Lotte Hotel on Saturday.
While PSY goes crazy with the partygoers, female quartet SISTAR and Korea’s legendary hip-hop trio DJ DOC will also glitz up Busan by performing at the Busan Haeundae Sooyoungman Yachting Stadium on the same day.
Bringing slightly different atmosphere compared to the aforementioned singers, Korea’s soulful vocalists Kim Bum-soo, Lee Young-hyun, K.will and Kim Tae-woo are set to present unforgettable jazzy night to people at the Busan Cinema Center Friday.
