Top Korean agency SM Entertainment's new boy bands EXO-K and EXO-M will stage a joint performance this weekend, making it the first time for all 12 members to appear on a televised music program together.
SM said in a press release today that all 12 members of EXO-K and EXO-M will come together to stage their title track "MAMA" from their mini-album of the same name, on SBS' "Inkigayo" this Sunday.
The firm also explained that the two groups’ joint performance is a way to show their appreciation to their fans as well as to mark their gratitude in selling a combined number of 100,000 copies of their first mini-album.
EXO-K and EXO-M each have been pursuing their activities in Korea and China.
While EXO-K is composed of members SU HO, KAI, CHAN YEOL, SE HUN, BAEKHYUN and D.O, EXO-M is formed of members KRIS, LU HAN, TAO, LAY, XUI MIN and CHEN.
In the meantime, both groups are scheduled to join TVXQ!, Super Junior, Girls' Generation and f(x) for their agency's joint concert, "SMTOWN LIVE WORLD TOUR III in LA," being held at the Honda Center in Los Angeles, California on May 20.
