American progressive metal band Dream Theater will hold their sixth concert in Korea in April, according to their official website on Friday.
Dream Theater's official website showed that group will perform at the Olympic Hall in Seoul on April 19 as part of their upcoming world tour which will begin in Finland later this month.
The band decided to kick off this world tour as a way to promote their 11th album "A DRAMATIC TURN OF EVENTS" featuring their song "On The Backs of Angels" which landed them their first-ever Grammy nomination for Best Hard Rock/Metal performance.
Dream Theater, composed of members John Petrucci, John Myung, James LaBrie, Jordan Rudess and Mike Mangini, is well known for its technical proficiency of its instrumentalists who have won many awards from music instruction magazines.
The band's highest-selling album is their gold record "Images and Words" which was followed up by other albums "Awake," "Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence" and "Systematic Chaos" which all fared well upon their releases.
