IU keeps "YOU&I" No. 1 for 2nd week

Korean songstress IU retained the top spot on Gaon's singles chart during the second week of December.

On Thursday, Gaon's singles chart revealed that IU's title track "YOU&I," from her second full-length album "Last Fantasy," was No. 1 once again for the week of December 4 to 10.

IU, whose real name is Lee Ji-eun, made a successful return to the music scene with "Last Fantasy" with all of its songs ranking within the top ten of online music charts upon its release on November 29.

Dance tune “Trouble Maker” by Cube Entertainment's duo unit Trouble Maker, composed of 4minute's Hyun-a and BEAST's Hyun-seung, jumped up 12 spots to second place and four-member ballad group Noel's "To Live" entered the singles chart at No. 3.

In the meantime, Girls' Generation reclaimed the No. 1 spot on Gaon's album chart with their third studio release followed by the first mini-album by Trouble Maker and IU's second record "Last Fantasy."
