Hallyu star Lee Byung-hun has announced the dates for his upcoming fan meeting in Japan this December.
Lee's official Japanese website revealed on Monday that he will kick off a six-city tour titled "LBH ON STAGE 2011" starting with two shows at the Yokohama Arena in Yokohama on December 20 and 21.
He will then head off to the Fukuoka International Center in Fukuoka on December 24 and wrap up with two performances at the Osaka Castle Hall in Osaka three days later.
In 2006, Lee became the first Korean celebrity to have attracted some 50,000 fans to his fan meeting at the Tokyo Dome and has since visited the country on various occasions.
Lee became a household name in Japan after starring in SBS’ TV series “Beautiful Days” alongside Ryu Si-won and Choi Ji-woo in 2001.
He further solidified his star status in the country after receiving a number of awards for his role in KBS’ blockbuster series “IRIS.”
Lee is currently in the United States shooting the sequel to blockbuster movie "G.I. Joe: The Rise of the Cobra" scheduled to open in theaters in the summer of 2012.
