Idol group Big Bang's unit composed of members G-Dragon and T.O.P, better recognized as 'GD&TOP,' will make their debut in Japan this November.
Reports by Japanese media outlets including the website of the prestigious Oricon chart reported on Wednesday that the duo will release a single titled "OH YEAH feat BOM (from 2NE1)" in Japan on November 9.
"OH YEAH" and "HIGH HIGH," both popular tunes from the unit's first album released in Korea last December, will be listed in the upcoming single with the songs' lyrics in Japanese.
Additionally, the edition of the record with a DVD will contain the Japanese version of the music video for "OH YEAH feat BOM (from 2NE1)" and the limited editions will feature behind-the-scenes footage of G-Dragon and T.O.P, respectively.
This will also be the first project carried out under YGEX, established jointly by the boys' Korean agency YG Entertainment and major Japanese record label AVEX, aimed at managing the activities of YG artists in Japan.
G-Dragon and T.O.P came together for the first time last year to form their duo which saw their album receive much favorable response from fans.
Big Bang themselves have built on their reputation in Japan since their debut there in the summer of 2009, having toured the country several times, seeing their records certified gold disc status and winning the prize for best song at the 52nd Japanese Record Awards hosted by the Japan Composer’s Association late last year.
