Actress Lee Yu-ri got married yesterday, tying the knot with a missionary studying theology through a private wedding held in Seoul.
The ceremony was held at the EL Tower on Monday evening, attended only by family, relatives and close friends including actors Lee Soon-jae, Kim Soo-mi, Hong Soo-young and comedienne Lee Kyung-sil.
"My to-be-husband looked surprised while saying I looked very pretty," the 28-year-old actress said excitedly during a press conference held ahead of the nuptials. "I think I have finally found perfect love. I'm a bit nervous but I'm so happy that I keep smiling."
She also expressed her love for the groom-to-be. "I'm sure we'll live well together because you are such a kind person. Let's live a happy life together. I love you," said Lee.
The couple, both devout Christians, had met through bible study in 2008 and dated starting last year.
Lee has appeared in close to a dozen dramas since debuting in 1999 including "Loving You," "Yellow Handkerchief," and "Mom has Grown Horns."
