CNBLUE [FNC Music]
Korean rock band CNBLUE will perform at an annual rock festival in Japan next month, according to their agency FNC Music. On Friday, FNC announced in a press release that CNBLUE will be the first foreign artist to take part in music festival "COUNTDOWN JAPAN" which will take place at the Chiba Makuhari Messe International Exhibition in Chiba on December 28. This year, over 100 artists will grace the stage for the music festival such as ONE OK ROCK, Orange range and Dragon Ash. "We were surprised to hear that we were chosen as part of the lineup for 'COUNTDOWN JAPAN' since it is a festival for all Japanese artists," the members of CNBLUE said in the statement. CNBLUE, which stands for Code Name Blue, has been a successful and popular band in the K-pop scene as well where they made a debut in early 2010.The boys released their first major Japanese album "In my head" which recently became certified gold after selling over 100,000 copies in just a month of going on sale on October 19.
