New 'Bourne' series being shot in Korea

Parts of Hollywood’s “Bourne Legacy,” the fourth installment of the “Bourne” series, is being shot in Korea this week, according the Seoul Film Commission (SFC). "Universal Pictures chose to shoot parts of the movie on the busy streets in the Gangnam district on June 1,” an official from SFC told 10Asia over the phone on Thursday. The official went on to say that the film has not officially cranked in and declined to reveal further detail on for how long and who will take part in the shoot in Korea. News that the series will be shot in Korea in April first broke out after Korean actor Park Joong-hoon posted a comment on his Twitter account that saying that art director and production designer Thompson Kevin and the director were to visit Korea for location hunting. "Bourne Legacy" is a spy fiction thriller written by Eric Van Lustbader and the fourth novel in the Jason Bourne series which was created by Robert Ludlum.
