CNBLUE's DVD enters Oricon chart at No. 2

A DVD by Korean rock band CNBLUE which went on sale yesterday has entered Japan's prestigious Oricon chart at No. 2.According to Oricon's daily DVD chart, CNBLUE's latest DVD titled "CNBLUE First Live DVD," featuring their concert held at the Shibuya-AX in Tokyo in September last year, ranked in second place. They also held a special screening for the DVD with fans two days ago to celebrate its release. A PR official from FNC told 10Asia over the phone on Thursday that the group also shot the music video for their title track from their upcoming first full-length album while in the country. "They are back in Korea now and will be putting the final touches on their album set for release in mid-March." Making their singing debut in Japan in 2008, CNBLUE splashed onto the music scene in Korea with their hit single “Alone” early last year. They followed it up with other hit songs including “Love” and “Love Light.”They have led a successful music career overseas as well, going double platinum in Taiwan and placing in the top ranks of the prestigious Oricon chart in Japan.
