According to a daycare center official, A was said to have resigned from the daycare center in late February and was planning to go abroad to study.

After learning of this, the guardian of the victimized child asked the Yeongdeungpo Police Station in Seoul to prevent A from leaving the country, and the police, judging that there was a risk of flight, imposed the overseas travel ban.

Meanwhile, in line with the policy that cases involving children under the age of 10 are investigated by the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency, the police transferred the case there today.

The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency plans to review all internal CCTV footage from the past two months submitted by the daycare center to determine whether there were any additional instances of abuse.
