Namyangju City in Gyeonggi Province announced on February 25 that it will provide one-year course vouchers for the "Gangnam District Office Internet CSAT Broadcast" (Gangnam Ingang) to 1,500 students from 6th grade in elementary school to 3rd grade in high school, in order to realize equal educational opportunities and alleviate the burden of private education costs.

Gangnam Ingang is a platform that offers a variety of online learning content, including lectures preparing students for school exams and the College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT). By utilizing public online educational resources, the city is promoting this project to reduce educational disparities and improve access to learning.
In particular, this year the eligibility will be expanded to include 6th grade elementary school students, with the aim of supporting the reinforcement of basic academic skills and the formation of study habits for students in the transitional stage before entering middle school.
Applications can be submitted through the schools where students are currently enrolled starting March 3. Socially disadvantaged groups, such as recipients of basic livelihood security, lower-income households, persons with disabilities, and single-parent families, can apply at any time through the Namyangju City Talent Development Support Center website.
Meanwhile, since signing the "Agreement on Joint Use of the Gangnam District Office Internet CSAT Broadcast" with Seoul’s Gangnam District in 2020, the city has provided course vouchers to approximately 7,700 students to date, receiving a highly positive response from parents and students.
