HDC Hyundai Development Company will change its corporate name to IPARK Hyundai Development Company.
On February 25, HDC Group announced that, to mark the 50th anniversary of its founding, it has redefined "Life, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Energy" as the three core business sectors for its future growth.
The Life sector, which includes construction, distribution, leisure, and culture, aims to go beyond simply supplying residential spaces and instead create a future in which every moment of life is organically designed so that customers' experiences themselves become value.
Accordingly, affiliates in the Life business sector will remove the existing "HDC" from their names and fully adopt "IPARK," which has been used as a lifestyle platform brand.
The existing HDC Hyundai Development Company, HDC I&CONS, HDC IPARK Mall, HDC Shilla Duty Free, HDC Young Chang, HDC Sports, HDC Resort, and Hotel HDC will change their corporate names to IPARK Hyundai Development Company, IPARK I&CONS, IPARK Mall, IPARK Shilla Duty Free, IPARK Young Chang, IPARK Sports, IPARK Resort, and Hotel IPARK.
The AI and Energy sectors will continue to use "HDC" in their names.
HDC Group will hold a ceremony on March 18 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the group's founding and will announce its new corporate identity (CI) and future vision. The new corporate names will be officially used by each affiliate after going through board resolutions and shareholder meeting approval procedures, including general meetings of shareholders.
