The Korea Association of Machinery Industry announced that it appointed Park Sanghyun, CEO of Doosan Enerbility, as its 24th chairman at the 61st regular general meeting held at the Machinery Center in Yeouido, Seoul, on the 25th. The newly appointed Chairman Park Sanghyun will also concurrently serve as the 17th chairman of the Capital Goods Mutual Aid Association.

Chairman Park Sanghyun previously served as Senior Executive Director of the CFP Team in the holding company division of Doosan in 2008, Head of Financial Management at Doosan Infracore in 2011, Executive Vice President in the holding company division of Doosan in 2015, and CEO of Doosan Bobcat in 2018, before being appointed President and CEO of Doosan Enerbility in 2022.
In his inauguration speech, Chairman Park said, "The business environment for the machinery industry is facing growing uncertainty both at home and abroad," adding, "I will place the highest value on the growth of the industry and do my utmost to open up the future of Korea's machinery industry."
