Daegu Dong-gu Office (headed by District Mayor Yoon Seokjun) will be recruiting companies and young people to participate in the Youth Job Creation Leading Project from February 26 to March 20.
This project is a new initiative starting this year. It is open to medical device manufacturing and research & development companies located in the High-tech Medical Complex and the Medical R&D District, as well as IT companies in the Dongdaegu Venture Valley, that newly hire as full-time employees young people aged 39 or under who have (or will have) their address in Dong-gu.
The core of the project is to provide companies with a subsidy for initial labor costs of 900,000 won per month for six months, and to provide young employees who remain with the company for at least six months with a one-time incentive of 600,000 won.
The recruitment scale is up to 12 companies (12 young employees), and further details can be found on the Dong-gu Office website and through the Job and Economy Division.
Dong-gu District Mayor Yoon Seokjun said, "I hope that the Youth Job Creation Leading Project will become established as an initiative that contributes to hiring outstanding local talent and resolving local economic issues, and I will continue to work to ensure that Dong-gu develops into a vibrant economic city that attracts young people."
