The Integrated Support Center for Senior Employment is a consolidated hub established to respond to a super-aged society and to support stable social participation and income security for seniors in the region. It serves as a control tower that connects and coordinates 10 existing senior job service agencies, providing one-stop services ranging from job training and employment placement to follow-up support.
The center is located on the 4th floor of the Uijeongbu City Healing Center (29 Uijeong-ro), with a total floor area of 717.25 square meters. It is equipped with an integrated counseling desk for seniors, individual counseling rooms, and training rooms. Professional counselors are stationed there to provide high-quality job services for local seniors.
The Uijeongbu Senior Club (Director Choi Jaehyuk), which is a dedicated institution for senior employment pursuant to Article 9 of the "Act on the Promotion of Job Creation and Social Activities for Older Persons," will operate the center and plans to further strengthen its expertise in discovering and matching jobs.
The center will carry out: customized one-on-one job counseling; job and competency enhancement training; discovery and matching of public and private sector jobs; post-employment follow-up support; and integrated management of senior employment programs. In particular, it will focus on expanding high-quality jobs that reflect local characteristics as well as seniors' career backgrounds and professional skills.

As of January 2026, the proportion of the population aged 65 and older in the Uijeongbu area stands at 20.3% and continues to rise, and demand for senior employment is increasing accordingly. Through the opening of this center, the city plans to establish a systematic and sustainable foundation for job support, and to promote seniors' economic independence and revitalize the local community.
An official from the city said, "The Integrated Support Center for Senior Employment will go beyond simply providing jobs and play an important role in connecting seniors' experience and capabilities with the local community," adding, "We will continue to do our best to expand high-quality jobs for seniors and to build a closely knit support system."
