Donation ceremony held on the 25th
153 performances a year, 42,000 audience members
S-Oil continues to support culture and the arts in the local community.
S-Oil announced that on the 25th it held the "2026 Culture and Arts Sharing Campaign Donation Ceremony" at its headquarters in Mapo, Seoul, and delivered 200 million won in sponsorship funds for performing arts to Artrover Company through the Arts Council Korea. Comedian Jang Yong, whose performance is scheduled for September this year, attended the event, adding to its significance.
The Culture and Arts Sharing Campaign is a corporate social responsibility program that S-Oil has been running since June 2011. The company has hosted free performances on Wednesday evenings in the last week of every month in the lobby and main auditorium of its headquarters building, and through a total of 153 performances so far, it has provided around 42,000 employees and local residents with opportunities to enjoy culture and the arts.
This year as well, on Wednesday evenings in the last week of every month, S-Oil plans to present performances that family audiences can enjoy together. Starting with a performance by the five-member co-ed a cappella group Zenith on the 25th, the company will offer stages across various genres, including popular music, plays, and musicals. In December, it plans to conclude the year with a Christmas gala show.
S-Oil President Ryu Yeol said, "Audience satisfaction with cultural and artistic performances is high, and the response every month is enthusiastic," adding, "We will continue to become a company that practices ESG management by improving cultural welfare for local residents and supporting creative activities by artists."
