Lotte Wellfood announced on the 25th that its convenient meal brand “Theory of SICSA” has released three new products, including two types of dumplings and one type of Western-style pork cutlet.

The company stated, “We have strengthened product competitiveness in line with the recent increase in demand for frozen dumplings and pork cutlets, and the spread of the easy-cooking trend.” The newly launched products are three items: “Theory of SICSA Neat Korean Wheat Meat & Vegetable Boiled Dumplings,” “Theory of SICSA Green Onion Kimchi Dumplings,” and “Theory of SICSA Western-Style Pork Cutlet.” The products highlight ingredients such as Korean wheat, Korean rice, domestically produced kimchi, and 100% Korean pork, and recipes have been tailored to the characteristics of each product.

“Neat Korean Wheat Meat & Vegetable Boiled Dumplings” feature a chewy dumpling wrapper made with Korean wheat, filled with Korean pork, fresh chives, cabbage, green onion, carrot, and more to deliver a light and clean taste. They are bite-sized to improve convenience in cooking and eating. “Green Onion Kimchi Dumplings” use domestically produced aged kimchi (31% content) to enhance acidity and umami, and add domestically produced green onion to further boost flavor. Korean rice is blended into the dumpling wrapper to emphasize a chewy texture.

“Western-Style Pork Cutlet” uses 100% Korean pork to deliver a thick, whole-meat texture. A double-frying method is applied to maximize crispiness, and two packets of special pork cutlet sauce are included so that consumers can easily enjoy a full meal.

The three new products are sold through major distribution channels such as large discount stores and e-commerce platforms.
