Korea Investment Management ACE Global Semiconductor TOP4 Plus ETF Surpasses 1 Trillion Won in Net Assets

First Product Under the ACE Brand
The Ninth ACE ETF to Surpass 1 Trillion Won in NAV

Korea Investment Management announced on the 25th that the net asset value (NAV) of the ACE Global Semiconductor TOP4 Plus Exchange-Traded Fund (ETF) has exceeded 1 trillion won.

According to the Korea Exchange, as of the closing price on the 20th, the NAV of the ACE Global Semiconductor TOP4 Plus ETF stood at 1.0027 trillion won. After surpassing 800 billion won in NAV on the 14th of last month, it took just two weeks to reach over 900 billion won, and only 15 days to grow to the 1 trillion won level.

With this, the ACE Global Semiconductor TOP4 Plus ETF has become the ninth product among Korea Investment Management's ACE ETFs to surpass 1 trillion won in NAV. Products ranked above it include: ACE KRX Gold Spot (NAV of 5.1556 trillion won), ACE U.S. S&P 500 (3.2893 trillion won), ACE U.S. Nasdaq 100 (2.6337 trillion won), ACE U.S. 30-Year Treasury Active (Bond) (H) (1.9726 trillion won), and ACE 200 (1.4923 trillion won).

The breakthrough of 1 trillion won in NAV is symbolic in that the ACE Global Semiconductor TOP4 Plus ETF was the first product launched under the ACE brand. Korea Investment Management rebranded its ETF line to ACE in 2022 and launched this product at that time. The fact that the first product released after the brand renewal has grown into a large-scale ETF is evaluated as the result of the alignment between ACE ETF's investment strategy, customer trust, and overall market trends.

Rather than broadly covering the entire semiconductor sector, the ACE Global Semiconductor TOP4 Plus ETF divides the industry into four sub-segments and concentrates on leading companies in each area. Its major holdings include Nvidia (system semiconductors), SK Hynix (memory semiconductors), TSMC (foundry), and ASML (semiconductor equipment), while also focusing on bottlenecks in industry conditions such as supply constraints. As of this date, the largest holding in the portfolio is SK Hynix, with a weight of 23.33%.

The latest achievement is attributed to the product's high returns and the resulting continued net buying by retail investors. According to fund evaluator FnGuide, the cumulative return of the ETF is 523.02%. Its 1-year and 3-year cumulative returns reach 131.88% and 441.9%, respectively. These figures far exceed the average returns of overseas equity ETFs (excluding leveraged products) that include "semiconductor" in their names, which stand at 70.67% (1-year) and 300.24% (3-year). In addition, over the past month, retail investors have recorded net purchases of approximately 37.7 billion won in this ETF, and net retail inflows over the past year have exceeded 141.3 billion won.

Nam Yongsoo, Head of ETF Management Division at Korea Investment Management, said, "The ACE Global Semiconductor TOP4 Plus ETF is a product that encompasses the entire semiconductor production process, from design and manufacturing to equipment and core components," adding, "The long-term performance proven by this product shows that the ACE ETF strategy of focusing on top-tier companies in the semiconductor value chain has been effective." He continued, "The importance of semiconductors, which will drive innovation in AI technology, is expected to grow even further, and this ETF will solidify its position as a suitable option for investors who are focused on future growth potential."

Meanwhile, Korea Investment Management will hold a live seminar titled "Hantu Station" through its official YouTube channel from 5:30 p.m. today, under the theme of "AI Investment Strategy for 2026." The seminar will review the outlook for the global artificial intelligence (AI) market, which has entered a phase of structural growth, and will cover detailed management strategies for the ACE Global Semiconductor TOP4 Plus ETF, which has joined the 1 trillion won club, as well as ETFs that invest in domestic semiconductor companies.
