Gyeonggi-do Economic and Science Promotion Agency Holds 'Sharing Achievements of Global Expansion and Roundtable Meeting' in Pangyo on the 24th

The Gyeonggi-do Economic and Science Promotion Agency held a 'Sharing Achievements of Global Expansion and Roundtable Meeting' on the 24th at the Startup Campus Startup Lounge in Pangyo for companies participating in the Pangyo Techno Valley Management Project.

The event was organized to spread the achievements of global exhibitions and investment-linkage activities by companies participating in the Pangyo Techno Valley Management Project, and to share best practices in entering overseas markets, thereby fostering an environment for inter-company cooperation and mutual growth.

In particular, based on participation experience at CES 2026 (Consumer Electronics Show) and UKF (United Korean Founders), the focus was on reviewing expansion strategies in the global market and objectively analyzing the outcomes of support programs.

About 30 people attended the event, including Gyeonggi-do Economic and Science Promotion Agency President Kim Hyungon, as well as CEOs, executives and employees of companies participating in the Pangyo Management Project, and other related officials.

Companies that visited CES 2026 checked global technology trends and innovation cases by industry on-site, and reviewed directions for advancing their own business models. They said that, in particular, they plan to analyze the latest technological trends in areas such as artificial intelligence, mobility, and healthcare, and reflect them in future product development and overseas expansion strategies.

Companies that took part in the UKF investment-attraction support program described how, through IR sessions with local investors, they proceeded to follow-up meetings and entered into investment review procedures. Participating companies also shared difficulties encountered in the process of entering global markets and their response strategies, emphasizing the need for a joint response framework.

Kim Hyungon, President of the Gyeonggi-do Economic and Science Promotion Agency, said, "This roundtable was an opportunity to share the achievements of global expansion, from exhibition participation to IR and investment linkage," adding, "We will strengthen global networks and investment linkages and continue systematic support so that Pangyo startups can prove their competitiveness in the global market."

The Gyeonggi-do Economic and Science Promotion Agency plans to expand programs that utilize global networks and to continue promoting CES visit-support projects and investment-linkage programs, reflecting the opinions gathered at this roundtable.
