"Benefits Without Complicated Conditions"...Shinhan Card Launches Two Simple Plan Products

On the 25th, Shinhan Card announced the launch of two new products that provide simple discount benefits without complicated conditions: "Shinhan Card Simple Plan" and "Shinhan Card Simple Plan+."

The two Simple Plan products maintain the intuitive service structure of the existing Shinhan Card Simple lineup, while enhancing the level of benefits. Customers can receive unlimited discounts on everyday spending without any performance (spending) requirements.

First, Simple Plan offers a 1% discount on domestic spending and a 2% discount on overseas spending. It also provides an ongoing interest-free installment service of 2 to 3 months for payments of 50,000 won or more at domestic merchants.

Simple Plan+ offers even stronger benefits than Simple Plan, with a 1.5% discount on domestic spending and a 2% discount on overseas spending. For first-time cardholders, an additional welcome service is provided: for payments of 30,000 won or more in each of the supermarket, hospital, and gas station categories, 30,000 won is refunded. An interest-free installment service of up to 3 months is also available under the same conditions.

In addition, if the Simple Plan+ family card is used 1.5 million won or more per quarter, 10,000 won is refunded per card, for up to four cards.

Shinhan Card is also holding a launch promotion for the two Simple Plan products. If Simple Plan customers register for the event by March 31 and spend a total of at least 400,000 won, including 20,000 won or more at restaurants and cafes, by April 30, they will receive a 10,000 won refund.

If Simple Plan+ customers spend a total of at least 400,000 won, including 30,000 won or more in the supermarket, hospital, and gas station categories, they will receive a 20,000 won refund, separate from the welcome service. If both the primary card and a family card are each used for 400,000 won or more, an additional 10,000 won benefit is provided.

The annual fees for Simple Plan and Simple Plan+ are 15,000 won and 47,000 won, respectively, for domestic-only cards, and 18,000 won and 50,000 won for Mastercard-branded international cards.
