Geochang County Holds 1st Local Public Official Career-Competitive Recruitment Exam to Secure Professional Talent

Geochang County in South Gyeongsang Province will hold the "2026 1st Local Public Official Career-Competitive Recruitment Examination" to strengthen the professionalism and efficiency of its administration and to provide high-quality administrative services to residents.

The rank to be appointed through this career-competitive recruitment examination is Grade 9, and the planned number of recruits is 15 in total: 5 in forestry and green space (2 in forest resources, 3 in landscaping), 1 in environment (general environment), 8 in facilities (5 in civil engineering, 2 in cadastral, 1 in architecture), and 1 in disaster prevention and safety.

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age (born on or before December 31, 2008), with no gender restrictions, and must either be residing in Gyeongsangnam-do from before January 1, 2026 through the date of the final examination, or have a record of having had their registered address in Gyeongsangnam-do for a total of at least three years before January 1, 2026.

In addition, applicants must hold a relevant qualification certificate for each recruitment category, and those who hold an Industrial Engineer-level certificate must have at least two years of practical work experience after obtaining the qualification.

Those wishing to apply may submit their documents in person by visiting the Geochang County Administration Division for five days from March 23 to March 27, or they may apply by registered mail. Detailed information is available on the Geochang County website.
