[Weather]Chilly Morning, Warmer Daytime Temperatures... "Beware of Large Temperature Swings"

On the morning of the 25th, temperatures will hover around 0 degrees Celsius, making it feel rather chilly, but they will rise from the afternoon.

At 5 a.m. that day, temperatures will be -0.6 degrees in Seoul, 0.2 degrees in Incheon, -3.4 degrees in Suwon, -3.9 degrees in Chuncheon, -1.2 degrees in Cheongju, 0.6 degrees in Daejeon, 1.1 degrees in Gwangju, 8.8 degrees on Jeju Island, 1.3 degrees in Daegu, 6.9 degrees in Busan, 6.6 degrees in Ulsan, and 4.6 degrees in Changwon.

At the Gwanghwamun intersection in Seoul, citizens bundled up in thick coats are hunched over as they hurry to work.

Daytime highs will range from 9 to 16 degrees, higher than the seasonal averages (morning lows of -6 to 3 degrees and daytime highs of 7 to 12 degrees).

In the central region, the Jeolla region, and inland North Gyeongsang, the difference between daytime and nighttime temperatures will be at least 15 degrees, and in eastern Gyeonggi and inland Gangwon it will be at least 20 degrees. As the daily temperature range will be large, people should take care of their health to avoid colds.

The central region, except for Yeongdong in Gangwon, will be mostly clear, while Yeongdong in Gangwon, the southern region, and Jeju Island will be mostly cloudy. In Busan, Ulsan, and the southern coastal area of North Gyeongsang, there may be light raindrops of less than 0.1 millimeters until the early hours of the 26th, and some parts of Jeju Island may see around 5 millimeters of rain through the 26th.

In inland southern Gyeonggi, the mountainous areas and inland southern parts of Gangwon, the Chungcheong region, the Jeolla region, and inland central and northern North Gyeongsang, dense fog may form with visibility of less than 200 meters, and in other inland areas, fog may reduce visibility to less than 1 kilometer. In areas where temperatures are low, fog or rain and snow from the previous day may freeze, creating icy roads and black ice, so drivers should pay special attention to traffic safety.

Fine dust concentrations will remain at "good" to "moderate" levels nationwide thanks to smooth atmospheric dispersion.
