Gyeonggi Province is recruiting companies to participate in an export consultation meeting until March 6 to support small and medium-sized K-food companies in the province in developing sales channels in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) market.
This export consultation meeting is a project designed to provide opportunities to enter local markets in CIS countries, focusing on Russia, Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan. It will be operated in stages, divided into a domestic consultation meeting and an overseas consultation meeting, with the domestic consultation meeting to be held at the Suwon Novotel Ambassador Hotel in late May.
For the domestic consultation meeting, Gyeonggi Province will recruit around 60 companies and arrange one-on-one consultations with overseas buyers, while providing the consultation venue and professional interpretation services. In addition, among the participating companies, excellent companies will be selected and given the opportunity to take part in the overseas consultation meeting.
Eligible applicants are small and medium-sized food companies whose head office or factory is located in Gyeonggi Province. Companies wishing to participate can apply online through the Gyeonggi Business Portal website (www.egbiz.or.kr).
For further details, inquiries can be made to the Export Marketing Team of the Gyeonggi Business & Science Accelerator (telephone +82-31-259-6143/6145, email gtrade@gbsa.or.kr).
Park Kyungseo, Director of the International Trade Division of Gyeonggi Province, said, "This export consultation meeting will serve as a foothold for K-food companies in the province to enter the CIS market in a stable manner," adding, "We will provide active support so that preliminary buyer matching and step-by-step assistance can lead to tangible export outcomes."
