Hannam The Hill unit bought in 2018, sold for 12.7 billion won
Actress Kim Taehee has reportedly sold a luxury residence in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul for about 12.7 billion won. This means she earned more than 8.5 billion won in profit over seven years.
According to Korea Economic TV on the 24th, Kim Taehee sold a 233-square-meter exclusive residential unit in Hannam The Hill in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul last November for approximately 12.77 billion won. The buyer is Koo Jakwan, CEO of Samkoo INC, who is known as the "cleaning king."
Previously, in August 2018, Kim Taehee purchased the residence entirely in cash for 4.23 billion won. The capital gain she earned over seven years amounts, in simple calculation, to 8.54 billion won.
The 233-square-meter exclusive unit that Kim Taehee owned is currently valued at around 12 billion to 13 billion won.
Hannam The Hill is an ultra-luxury residential complex built in 2011 on the former Dankook University site in Hannam-dong, consisting of 32 buildings and 600 units. It is also known to be owned by major figures in the entertainment industry, including BTS members RM and Jimin and actor So Jisub, as well as leading business figures such as Koo Kwangmo, Chairman of LG Group.

Kim Taehee, who married singer-actor Rain in 2017 and has two daughters, appeared in the Amazon Prime Video original series "Butterfly," which was released in August last year.
Meanwhile, Hannam The Hill recently drew attention when a 243.2-square-meter exclusive unit was traded for 17.5 billion won in 2025, soaring by as much as 9.5 billion won compared with the previous record-high price of 8 billion won.
