Muan County Recruiting for Youth Long-Term Employment Incentive

South Jeolla Province's Muan-gun County has begun recruiting participating companies to support long-term service by young workers at local small and medium-sized enterprises.

The county announced that it will be recruiting companies to participate in the "2026 Jeonnam Youth Long-Term Employment Incentive Support Project" until March 9.

This project is being promoted to help stabilize employment for young people who have found jobs at small and medium-sized enterprises within the county and to ease the burden of securing manpower for companies. The county will first select participating companies, and then select as beneficiaries the young workers currently employed by those companies.

This year, support will be provided for a total of 36 people, and the subsidy will be up to 20 million won per person over a maximum of four years. Of this amount, 5 million won will be paid to the company and 15 million won to the young worker.

Eligible applicants are small and medium-sized enterprises located in Muan that have at least 5 but fewer than 300 full-time employees. However, agricultural corporations such as agricultural production corporations and fisheries production corporations may apply regardless of the number of employees.

Companies wishing to participate can apply in person at the Job Team of the Future Growth Division of the Muan-gun County Office or by mail. Detailed application requirements and the list of documents to be submitted can be found in the Notices and Announcements section on the Muan-gun County website.

Muan-gun Governor Kim San said, "As this project supports the stabilization of youth employment, I hope it will provide practical help to both companies and young people," adding, "We will continue to expand the job base so that young people can remain in the local community."
