Yeungjin College (President Choi Jaeyoung) announced on the 24th that it has been selected simultaneously in three youth employment support project categories organized by the Ministry of Employment and Labor. By securing government support totaling 750 million won per year, the college will further strengthen its full-cycle regional youth employment support system that covers current students, high school students, and graduates.
Yeungjin College was recently selected by the Ministry of Employment and Labor as a priority negotiation university for the University Job Plus Center, customized employment services for high school students, and graduate-specialized programs. Accordingly, starting in 2026, the college will carry out these projects with government support for five years.

With this selection, the college will receive annual government support of 750 million won for five years starting in 2026. Specifically, 300 million won will be allocated to the University Job Plus Center, 280 million won to customized employment services for high school students, and 170 million won to graduate-specialized programs.
The University Job Plus Center project integrates and operates on-campus career and employment support infrastructure and provides step-by-step customized employment support for current students. In particular, the center plans to focus on generating tangible employment outcomes through one-on-one in-depth counseling, job-related special lectures, recruitment briefings, and linkages to recommended hiring opportunities.
The customized employment services project for high school students supports career exploration, employment counseling, employment activity planning, vocational training, and work-experience programs for students at vocational high schools and for non-college-bound youth from general high schools. Yeungjin College plans to build a cooperative network with local high schools and related institutions to help young people design their careers early and enter the labor market smoothly.
The graduate-specialized program provides tailored counseling and employment support programs for unemployed graduates and those seeking a job change. The college will operate a dedicated counseling system for unemployed graduates and strengthen job-specialized employment camps and linkages to recommended hiring in order to minimize employment gaps.
Park Hyojin, head of the University Job Plus Center (professor), said, "The simultaneous selection for these three projects is a recognition of the effectiveness of the career and employment support system that the university has built over the years," adding, "We will further advance our full-cycle employment support system that encompasses current students, high school students, and graduates, and actively support local youth so that they can remain competitive and enter society stably despite the changing employment environment."
Meanwhile, since 2015 Yeungjin College has been carrying out the University Job Plus Center project and continuously expanding its career and employment support infrastructure. By fostering practice-oriented talent tailored to regional industry demand and operating employment-linked programs, the college has been contributing to revitalizing youth employment and enhancing the competitiveness of the regional economy.
