18 Mid- to Long-Term Service Veterans Attend
The Veteran Support Center of the Busan Regional Office of Patriots and Veterans Affairs (headed by Director Lee Namil) held a job readiness workshop for veterans on the 4th floor of the Busan office, in the Park Jaehyeok Room, on the 23rd.
The workshop ran from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and consisted of a special lecture on asset management for veterans and a job readiness enhancement program.
In the morning, instructor Kim Kyungmin from the Central Retirement Preparation Support Center of the National Pension Service gave a lecture on the theme of "From Bankbooks to Pensions: Financial Planning for Veterans." The lecture presented practical asset management methods, including pension management and investment strategies, drawing strong interest from participants.
In the afternoon, instructor Lee Hajung from Jenniel conducted a hands-on lecture on the theme of "Writing Job Application Forms Using Generative AI." The session shared methods and strategies for writing self-introduction letters using artificial intelligence in line with the changing recruitment environment.
A total of 18 mid- to long-term service veterans from the jurisdiction attended the workshop. After attending the lectures, they received information on the center's support programs and had one-on-one individual counseling sessions with their respective counselors. In particular, the special lecture on asset management was evaluated as an opportunity to resolve questions about stable retirement preparation and financial planning.
Having held its first workshop of the year, the Busan Veteran Support Center plans to operate a variety of programs once a month to support veterans' start-up and employment and to strengthen their capabilities. It also plans to concurrently promote "visiting workshops" for members in its jurisdiction, specifically those in Ulsan and Yangsan.
The Veterans Support Center of the Busan Regional Office of Veterans Affairs is hosting a job competency enhancement workshop.
