On February 24, Sanho-dong in Masanhappo-gu, Changwon Special City, Gyeongsangnam-do, announced that the Machang Buddhist Mountaineering Club had put warm sharing into practice by donating 50 boxes of ramen worth 1 million won.
The ramen donated on February 23 will be provided to the Bannet Food Sharing Stall, a Sanho-dong community-specialized project, and is expected to help foster a warm and caring atmosphere in the local community.
Representative Lim Un-gyu said, "It may be a small gesture, but I hope it will bring some comfort to neighbors in need," adding, "We will continue sharing activities together with the local community in the future."
Sanho-dong Chief Kim Neum-i said, "I would like to express my deep gratitude to Chairman Lim Un-gyu and all the members of the Machang Buddhist Mountaineering Club for remembering us every year and practicing such warm sharing," and added, "We will make sure that your valuable donation is delivered well to neighbors who truly need it."
Meanwhile, the Machang Buddhist Mountaineering Club has consistently put sharing into practice for the underprivileged by donating ramen every winter.
