MGen Solution announced on the 24th that it will work with green hydrogen specialist SCL Energy (hereinafter SCL) to build a hydrogen production showcase.
The two companies plan to validate a high-efficiency, high-safety production model and target the global hydrogen infrastructure market.
The company emphasized that this is a "business-oriented showcase" that simultaneously secures efficiency and safety by applying SCL's proprietary patented technology and MGen Solution's AI (artificial intelligence)-based safety solution.
This facility can produce 100 kg of hydrogen per day. This is enough to fully charge more than about 15 hydrogen passenger vehicles, and it is a model that is just short of commercialization and can be applied to decentralized hydrogen charging stations and small to mid-sized industrial sites.
Going forward, they plan to develop it into a modular and scalable facility and link it to local government hydrogen infrastructure and industrial complex supply projects.
To ensure safety, which is critical for hydrogen infrastructure, MGen Solution will apply its fire suppression solution "ALPHASHOT." Through this, the company plans to build an integrated safety system that detects risk factors in real time and responds automatically throughout the entire process of hydrogen production, storage, and transportation.
Meanwhile, regarding the disclosure on the 23rd and the change in the sale of the 22nd self-convertible bond (CB), the company explained, "The new buyer is an affiliate of SCL," adding that "this is a strategic decision to promote the green hydrogen business."
On the extension of the 24th CB, it added, "This is a measure linked to the schedules of large-scale projects at home and abroad," and "part of a step-by-step preparation process for transforming into a renewable energy specialist company."
