4YFN is an exhibition that discovers and supports promising startups with the potential to participate in the main MWC exhibition four years from now. This year’s 4YFN will be held for four days from March 2 to 5 (local time) at Hall 8.1 of Fira Gran Via, where MWC26 will take place.

At this year’s 4YFN, SK Telecom will set up an exclusive pavilion for startups and, together with 15 promising startups in the fields of artificial intelligence (AI) and environmental, social and governance (ESG), will showcase collaboration cases and innovative technologies. The participating startups are Mesacure Company, Bering Lab, Broz, Stress Solution, Sixtyhertz, Enerzai, Ailyss, Aiv, Yukoehan Project, Inbelab, Chilloen, Coxwave, Conexty, Cubic and For Natures.

This year marks the sixth time that SK Telecom has operated a pavilion at 4YFN. Since first running a dedicated startup pavilion at 4YFN in 2019, the company has participated every year except for 2020 and 2021, when it was absent due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

This year’s pavilion, under the theme “SKTCH Today, Change Tomorrow,” embodies a vision of mutual growth to create “tomorrow’s change” together with startups.

The exhibition will present AI technologies that are already being applied to real industries and everyday life in various areas such as security, space and content. Startups in the ESG field that address environmental and social issues through technology will also take part in the exhibition.

Even after the exhibition ends, SK Telecom will continue to support startups so that their growth can continue, including in attracting global investment and developing sales channels. On March 4 (local time) in Barcelona, SK Telecom will hold an investment briefing session for startups, inviting key officials from major European venture capital (VC) firms. Seven startups - Mesacure Company, Stress Solution, Sixtyhertz, Ailyss, Aiv, Yukoehan Project and Cubic - will participate in the session to present their technological capabilities and business potential to global investors.

Um Jonghwan, Head of ESG at SK Telecom, said, “We have prepared a dedicated pavilion at MWC26 4YFN to showcase the technological capabilities and collaboration achievements of innovative startups to the world,” adding, “SK Telecom will continue to pursue practical cooperation as a reliable partner for promising domestic startups.”
