Positive Customer Response Confirmed in Pre-Sales at Company-Operated Stores
Diversified Side Menu Lineup Expected to Boost Franchisees' Sales
Mom's Touch, a homegrown burger and chicken brand, announced on February 24 that it has expanded the availability of its two side menu items, "Chicken Cheese Sticks" and "Meat Chili Potatoes," from a limited number of company-operated stores to locations nationwide.
"Chicken Cheese Sticks" are a fried menu item made by stuffing mozzarella cheese inside chicken, highlighting a crispy texture and rich cheese flavor. "Meat Chili Potatoes" are made by adding meat chili sauce to the existing popular Cajun-seasoned fries. When ordering a burger set, customers can choose them instead of the regular fries.
This nationwide expansion is aimed at strengthening the competitiveness of side menus. The strategy is to move beyond a burger- and chicken-centered ordering structure, raise the average ticket size, and capture snack demand during afternoon hours. The company explained that this is "a measure to enhance the stability of franchisees' sales by increasing the options that can naturally be combined with main menu items."
Mom's Touch is also pursuing menu diversification this year. It recently launched two "Grilled Bulgogi Burgers" that emphasize a smoky flavor through direct grilling, and it is offering the previously popular "Jalapeno Whole Chicken Burger" as a limited-time item through a project that brings back past favorites based on customer voting.
A Mom's Touch representative said, "This expansion of side menu offerings to nationwide stores is based on the positive customer response we confirmed after launching them at select company-operated locations, and the decision was made with franchisees' sales improvement in mind," adding, "This year, we will focus on broadening customer choice by offering a more diverse menu lineup."
