This contest was organized in line with the theme of the academic conference to explore future strategies for regional tourism in Chungcheongbuk-do and to discover practical ideas from young people. Participants presented a variety of ideas, including tourism innovation based on AI and digital technologies and reinterpreting the value of local resources, and they received positive evaluations in terms of applicability in the field.

The awards ceremony was held on the 11th, with Executive Vice Chairman Park Jongdal presenting the awards on behalf of Chairman Lee Kyungsoo.

Lee Kyungsoo, Chairman of the Korea Tourism Association Central, stated, "AI and digital technology are important tools, but the essence of tourism ultimately lies in people," adding, "I hope that the ideas of young people will serve as an opportunity to create a tourism environment where people stay in the region."

Since its establishment in 1977, the Korea Tourism Association Central Scholarship Foundation has provided scholarships to approximately 2,000 tourism-related students, and it plans to continue to contribute to building a people-centered tourism ecosystem by fostering young talent.
