Kwon Chilseung, Running for Gyeonggi Governor, Holds Book Event... a "Strategic Weapon Quietly Leading the War to Victory"

Assemblyman Kwon Chilseung of the Democratic Party of Korea, who has declared his candidacy for Governor of Gyeonggi Province, held a publication commemoration event on the 22nd.

That day, Assemblyman Kwon held a publication ceremony at the Gyeonggi Arts Center to commemorate the release of his book "A Spokesperson's War Diary."

Through his congratulatory remarks, Democratic Party leader Jung Cheongrae recalled that Assemblyman Kwon had served as chief spokesperson when President Lee Jaemyung was party leader, and described him as "a person with a calmer disposition and keener insight than anyone else." Presidential Political Affairs Adviser Cho Jeongsik said, "He is the person who defended then-party leader Lee Jaemyung on the very front line against the oppression of the Yoon Sukyeol administration," adding, "I strongly support him in opening up a greater future for the Republic of Korea and for Gyeonggi Province."

Kwon Chilseung, head of the Economic Criminal and Civil Liability Task Force, is attending the 2nd Party-Government Consultation on Rationalizing Economic Criminal and Civil Liability, held at the Democratic Party floor leader's office, and delivering opening remarks.

Democratic Party Assemblyman Kim Youngjin drew attention by likening Assemblyman Kwon to a "stealth bomber." He said, "In the noisy world of politics, Kwon Chilseung is the strategic weapon that quietly digs into unseen places and leads the war to victory," and praised him as "a thoroughly prepared person who will drive the party to victory in any position."

In addition to leader Jung and Adviser Cho, about 30 current and former lawmakers attended the event, including National Assembly Vice Speaker Lee Hakyoung, Democratic Party floor leader Han Byungdo, Democratic Party Supreme Council member Kang Deukgu, Democratic Party floor spokesperson Kim Hyunjung, former Democratic Party Assemblyman Ahn Minseok, and former Minister of Education Yoo Eunhye. Key Gyeonggi Province figures such as Gyeonggi Governor Kim Dongyeon, Gyeonggi Senior Political Secretary Yoon Junho, Anseong Mayor Kim Bora, Suwon Mayor Lee Jaejun, Hwaseong Mayor Jeong Myeonggeun, and Anyang Mayor Choi Daehos also attended in large numbers.
