Sequels in Production, Merchandise to Be Rolled Out Sequentially from March

The animal animation video produced with generative AI by Everland, the resort division of Samsung C&T, surpassed 800,000 views just five days after its release.

On February 17, Everland released on its own animal YouTube channel, "Talking Zoo Ppuppa TV," an animation titled "Different, together," which tells the adventure story of Chiko the alpaca as she sets off in search of Zootopia, a paradise for animals.

In the approximately 8-minute short-movie animation, alpacas, capybaras, sloths, parrots, turtles, and other animals that actually live in Everland Zoo's Ppuppa Town are reborn as adorable animal characters and appear on screen.

This work delivers a message of coexistence within differences through a story in which Chiko, a curious young alpaca girl, meets animal friends with distinct personalities on her journey to find Ppuppa Town, a village where all animals live in harmony, and overcomes crises together with them.

In particular, Everland utilized generative AI technology throughout the overall production process, from setting the concepts for the animal characters to background design and scene direction, to create a highly realistic and immersive video.

The characters were brought to life by reflecting the real animals' facial expressions and behavioral traits, and the combination of warm colors and an emotional original soundtrack creates the atmosphere of a fairy-tale-like story.

Buoyed by this positive customer response, Everland plans to produce and later release stop-motion videos and animated sequels using the Ppuppa Town characters.

In addition, starting next month, the company plans to sequentially roll out merchandise featuring the Ppuppa Town animal characters, such as Chiko (alpaca) hairbands and Ppujjigi (capybara) key holders, in order to expand content synergies that connect the animation with the theme park experience.
