Samsung Electronics is supplying appliances from its luxury built-in kitchen brand Dacor to a high-end residential community in the United States.

Samsung Electronics announced on the 22nd that it will supply Dacor appliances to every home in Aripeka, a luxury residential community in Viera, Florida. Located near Orlando, Viera sits on the so-called Space Coast, which is famous as a hub of the aerospace industry, and is characterized by its premium residential environment.

Aripeka is a community of 260 single-family homes currently under construction with a target completion date of 2027, being developed in collaboration with four high-end custom home builders: Lifestyle Homes, Joyal Homes, CDS Builders, and Stanley Homes. It is regarded as the most luxurious premium single-family housing community in Viera.

Dacor built-in appliances feature a built-in design that blends naturally with kitchen cabinetry. They are also connected to Samsung Electronics' SmartThings, making the products convenient to use while providing a differentiated connected experience, such as managing energy across the entire home.

The Dacor appliances to be installed in the Aripeka community comprise six product types in total: 1-door column refrigerators and freezers, full-column wine cellars, dishwashers, 48-inch dual steam ranges, and pro canopy wall hoods.

The 1-door column refrigerator uses premium metal materials to cover the entire interior, keeping ingredients fresh and hygienic. Its precise temperature control technology maintains internal temperature fluctuations within ±0.5 degrees Celsius, preserving the taste and texture of food ingredients. It is also the first in the industry to feature a Push to Open automatic door opening function, which allows users to open the door with a light touch even while holding food. Inside, 3D lighting adds an extra touch of luxury.

The full-column wine cellar protects wine from heat, light, humidity, and vibration, maintaining it in optimal condition like a wine-aging cellar. Its three independent interior compartments can each be set between 4 and 18 degrees Celsius, allowing wine to be stored at the ideal temperature according to its characteristics.

The dishwasher is equipped with the StormWash+ function, which thoroughly removes stubborn stains from dishes, and the Auto Release Door feature, which automatically opens the door at the end of the wash cycle to dry dishes quickly and efficiently. A slide-hinge system that allows the door cover to open fully ensures a seamless, harmonious fit with surrounding cabinetry.

The 48-inch dual steam range has a dual structure consisting of a steam oven and convection, enabling users to cook different dishes simultaneously. The steam oven uses steam to cook food in a healthier and faster way, while the convection section features a Four-Part Pure Convection system that prevents flavors and odors from mixing and distributes heat evenly throughout the oven. This product is equipped with a 7-inch screen that allows users to check professional cooking information such as temperature and time. When the user touches the screen, it tilts forward, making it even more convenient to control the appliance.

Samsung Electronics is actively supplying Dacor and other business-to-business (B2B) appliances to the U.S. market and is focusing on expanding its B2B business targeting major homebuilders. The company also plans to supply Dacor appliances to single-family homes provided by Park Square Homes and Jones Homes, both trusted builders in the Florida region.

Lee Sangjik, Executive Vice President of the Digital Appliances (DA) Division at Samsung Electronics, said, "Supplying Dacor to Aripeka is the result of Samsung's technological prowess and brand reliability being recognized in the North American market," adding, "We will actively target the North American B2B market through the Dacor lineup, which combines luxurious design, outstanding performance, and connectivity through SmartThings."
