Geumcheon District Named "Top-rated Institution" for Third Consecutive Year in Comprehensive Evaluation of Information Disclosure

Geumcheon District in Seoul (District Mayor Yoo Sung-hoon) has been selected as a top-rated institution in the Ministry of the Interior and Safety's 2025 Comprehensive Evaluation of Information Disclosure. It has received the highest rating for three consecutive years since 2023, earning recognition for its excellence in the field of information disclosure.

To ensure the reliability and transparency of the information disclosure system, the Ministry of the Interior and Safety evaluated more than 560 institutions, including central government agencies, local governments, and public institutions, across 12 indicators in 5 categories: proactive disclosure, original-document disclosure, request processing, customer management, and system operation.

Among the 12 indicators, Geumcheon District received full marks in 4. Its proactive information disclosure efforts, such as inspecting proactively disclosed information through the operation of an information disclosure monitoring group, and its active disclosure of original documents were highly rated. As a result, it scored 95.52 points, which is 5.37 points higher than the average score of 90.15 points for autonomous districts.
