Daytime Highs between 5 and 13 Degrees
On Tuesday the 18th, the last day of the Lunar New Year holiday, the weather will be mostly clear nationwide, with mild conditions during the day. Most regions across the country will remain chilly with sub-zero temperatures in the morning, but daytime highs will climb to as warm as 13 degrees Celsius.

Morning lows are forecast to range from -7 to 2 degrees Celsius, with daytime highs between 5 and 13 degrees. On both the 18th and 19th, inland areas of the Gyeongsang region will see large temperature swings of 15 degrees or more between day and night, so people are advised to take care of their health.
Between the morning and midday hours, some areas of Ulleungdo and Dokdo will see rain or snow.
Fine dust concentrations are expected to remain at "good" to "moderate" levels in all regions, but the Seoul metropolitan area and Chungcheongnam-do are forecast to experience "bad" levels until the morning.
Waves will range from 0.5 to 3.5 meters off the east coast, 0.5 to 2.0 meters off the west coast, and 0.5 to 1.5 meters off the south coast. In the outer coastal waters (the offshore area within about 200 km of the coastline), wave heights are expected to be 1.0 to 3.5 meters in the East Sea, 1.0 to 2.5 meters in the West Sea, and 0.5 to 2.5 meters in the South Sea.
From the afternoon onward, high swells along the east coast may surge strongly onto sandy beaches or sweep over coastal rocks and breakwaters, so caution is advised to prevent accidents along the shore.
