On the 16th, he posted a lengthy message on Instagram, emphasizing his faith and counseling philosophy by saying, "No matter what anyone says, I have lived my whole life as a Christian. And although it may sound short, I have been doing counseling for quite a long time."

He said, "I am always conscious of God, I pray for my clients, and I share in their suffering." He then added, "Many clients move back and forth between fortune-telling houses, religious institutions, and counseling settings with anxiety and worries. I have tried not to forget the difference between counseling and shamanism, and I have continued to study in order to maintain my identity in between those two."

He went on to explain, "I try to clearly understand the difference between reading fate and controlling fate, and I try not to forget those who suffer in that process." Regarding his reason for leaving "Fate War 49," he candidly shared his feelings by saying, "After the show started, I realized that this was not the kind of work I should be doing on this program. So I quickly stepped down."

Professor Lee said, "Through this experience, I realized that I need to find my path with even greater caution. Even at my age, I have had to learn again in a very embarrassing way," and added, "From now on, I will make sure that the path I stand on is clear, and I will stay fully alert and live accordingly."

"Fate War 49" is a survival show in which 49 fate specialists gather and test their own fate through various missions. Shamans and tarot readers appear on the show. On the 11th, when episodes 1 to 4 were released, it immediately ranked No. 1 in the Korean TV show category on Disney+.

Professor Lee Hoseon is currently serving as the head of the Department of Christian Counseling and Social Welfare at Soongsil Cyber University, and is active as a counseling expert on programs such as JTBC's Divorce Deliberation Camp and tvN STORY's Lee Hoseon Counseling Center.
