LIV Golf Adelaide Triumph and 6.1 Billion Won Windfall
First Victory Since the 2010 PGA Tour Houston Open
Rahm 2nd, DeChambeau Tied for 3rd, Kim Minkyu 32nd
Korean-American golfer Anthony Kim (United States) has claimed a victory for the first time in as many as 15 years and 10 months.
On February 15, at The Grange Golf Club (par 72, 7,111 yards) in Adelaide, Australia, he played the fourth round of LIV Golf Adelaide (total prize money 30 million dollars) and poured in 9 birdies without a single bogey. Shooting a 9-under-par 63, Anthony Kim finished at a total of 23-under-par 265 and captured the title by 3 strokes.
It is his first trophy in about 16 years since the PGA Tour Houston Open in April 2010. He received 4 million dollars in individual winner’s prize money, plus 225,000 dollars, which is 25% of the third-place team prize, for a total of 4.225 million dollars (about 6.1 billion won).

With three career wins on the PGA Tour, Anthony Kim was once so highly regarded in American golf that he was called a rival to 'golf emperor' Tiger Woods (United States), but he suddenly disappeared from the golf scene in 2012. He did not engage in any golf-related activities at all for 12 years, then joined LIV Golf in 2024.
He had never finished in the top 20 in LIV Golf. Until this tournament, his best LIV Golf result was a tie for 22nd at LIV Golf Riyadh, which served as the opening event of the 2026 season last week.
In this tournament as well, Anthony Kim trailed the co-leaders, including Jon Rahm (Spain) and Bryson DeChambeau (United States), by as many as 5 strokes through the third round. A comeback did not appear very likely, but he overturned the 5-shot deficit and demonstrated the strength to win again after 16 years. Anthony Kim, who had climbed as high as No. 6 in the world rankings in 2008, is currently ranked 847th.
Rahm (Spain) finished second at 20-under-par 268, while DeChambeau, Tyrrell Hatton (England), and Peter Uihlein (United States) shared third place at 17-under-par 271. Among Korean players, An Byeonghun posted the best result with a 10-under-par 278, tied for 24th. Kim Minkyu and Korean-New Zealander Danny Lee tied for 32nd at 7-under-par 281, and Song Younghan tied for 44th at 4-under-par 284.
