This event was organized to provide at least some support to traditional markets and local merchants struggling with the economic downturn and rising prices, and to put into practice the role of public institutions in promoting mutual growth and cooperation with the local community.
The 13 employees of Gangwon Jungdo Development Corporation who took part in the event promoted a campaign to revitalize traditional markets and stimulate consumption by purchasing local agricultural and livestock products and daily necessities using Gangwon gift certificates and local love gift certificates.
Kim Junwoo, CEO of Gangwon Jungdo Development Corporation, said, "I hope that by visiting the traditional market together with our employees for the Lunar New Year holiday, we can make a small contribution to revitalizing the local economy," adding, "We will continue to expand activities to boost the local economy as part of our efforts to practice ESG management."
