In Incheon, northern Gyeonggi, and the northern inland areas of Gangwon, less than 1 millimeter of rain is expected between the morning and midday, and around 1 millimeter of rain is also forecast over the mid-mountainous areas and mountain regions of Jeju Island between the morning and evening. Dense fog is expected in some areas, mainly in Incheon, Gyeonggi, inland Gangwon, and the Chungcheong region, and there may also be patches of black ice on the roads, so extra caution is needed for traffic safety during the homebound holiday travel.
The air will be very dry, mainly along the East Coast, so extra caution is required to prevent forest fires and other fires.
Fine dust concentrations are expected to reach "very bad" levels in Seoul, northern Gyeonggi, southern Gyeonggi, and Yeongseo in Gangwon; "bad" in Incheon, Yeongdong in Gangwon, the Chungcheong region, Gwangju, Jeonbuk, Daegu, and Gyeongbuk; and "good" to "normal" in other regions. However, until the morning, Incheon and the Chungcheong region are expected to reach "very bad" levels, while Jeonnam, Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam are expected to be at "bad" levels.
