The county is pursuing the following projects: support projects for areas surrounding land provided to the U.S. Forces Korea; the All-Generation Platform Creation Project; the Chojeon-myeon Harmony Complex Town Development Project; the Soseong-ri Rest Village Development Project; the Seongshinwon Maintenance Project; the Byeokjin-myeon Comprehensive Maintenance Project; and resident-centered projects that residents can tangibly feel. The directions of these projects are being developed through consultations with local residents.

Through this communication, many residents are expected to tangibly experience these positive changes, and the process itself is also expected to invigorate communication among residents and strengthen community solidarity. Seongju County is likewise making significant efforts in project implementation to build a Seongju that is created together by residents and the county government.

An official from Seongju County said, "The support projects for areas surrounding land provided to the U.S. Forces Korea are part of recovery and a leap forward, intended to heal the wounds of residents who have sacrificed for a long time in the name of national security and to create new future growth engines. We will further accelerate the promotion of these projects so that we can heal the hearts of county residents who were hurt and suffered during the THAAD deployment process, and we expect that by working with residents to find the direction of change, we will breathe new life into the region so that various generations can feel that change. We will do our utmost to make Seongju grow further and become a more vibrant place."
