Battery retains 99% performance even after 100,000 km of driving
Long-term confidence ensured with 15-year, unlimited-mileage warranty
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars (Rolls-Royce) announced on February 6 that the battery performance of its all-electric model, the Spectre, is being recognized as a key value among its customers.
The Spectre has delivered results in battery durability that underpin long-term confidence in electric vehicles. Recent driving tests confirmed that, even after driving and charging over a distance of more than 100,000 km, the battery retained 99% of its performance. Rolls-Royce provides a standard battery warranty of 15 years with no mileage limit for the Spectre model, and has secured a replacement battery supply system extending beyond the 2050s to guarantee long-term support.
The model has also undergone rigorous verification from an engineering perspective. Before its official launch, the Spectre completed a test program totaling 2.5 million km, and continuous testing is still being carried out by a dedicated engineering team. This technical foundation has translated into a strong market response: in its first year of full-scale sales, it outperformed the debut-year results of the Wraith and the Dawn. In 2025, it was recorded as the second most-ordered Rolls-Royce model worldwide.
In terms of design and bespoke craftsmanship, the Spectre also demonstrates its value as a long-term asset. Highly bespoke commissions continue to come in, such as the “Spectre Bailey,” inspired by a client’s pet dog, and the “Spectre Soulmate,” created to commemorate a couple’s journey together. Its design inherits the brand’s unique principles through features such as split headlamps reminiscent of the Phantom Coup?, the Pantheon grille, and a graceful fastback silhouette.
A Rolls-Royce representative said, “The Spectre is a model born from the spirit of permanence that defines every Rolls-Royce, and it has established a clear milestone in the brand’s history,” adding, “Clients intuitively understand the value of the Spectre and commission it as a work to be passed down across generations, which is why it is regarded as the most successful coup? launch in the brand’s history.”
