Samsung Electronics has launched its 2026 AI Wind-Free air conditioner lineup with enhanced artificial intelligence (AI) features and design. The company explained that the products incorporate 10 years of Wind-Free air conditioner expertise, including user-position detection and precise airflow control.
On February 5, Samsung Electronics held a media briefing at its Seoul R&D Campus in Umyeon-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul, and unveiled the new stand-type "Bespoke AI Wind-Free Combo Gallery Pro" and the wall-mounted "Bespoke AI Wind-Free Combo Pro Wall-Mount". Samsung Electronics had already released the wall-mounted model to the public last month at "CES 2026".
At the event, Shin Moonseon, Senior Vice President of the Air Solution Development Team in the Digital Appliances (DA) division at Samsung Electronics, and Kim Hyunsoo, Head of the Air Solution Design Group in the DA division at Samsung Electronics, introduced the new products. Shin said, "Samsung Electronics launched its first Wind-Free product in 2016 and it has been loved for 10 years," adding, "To make our unique Wind-Free feature even more comfortable, we have made efforts such as revisiting consumer needs based on market research."

The new products focus on strengthening customized cooling functions based on AI technology. The Bespoke AI Wind-Free Combo Gallery Pro is newly equipped with the "AI Motion Wind" feature. By using the "Motion Blade", which divides the space into zones such as left, right, and center to enable focused cooling, the product offers six airflow modes.
The "AI Direct" and "AI Indirect" wind modes use a motion radar sensor to detect the user's location, activity level, and absence, and then provide the optimal airflow. In addition, it supports "Circulation" mode for evenly cooling a wide space, "Long-Distance" mode that delivers airflow up to 8.5 meters, "Wind-Free" mode with no direct draft, and "Max" mode that cools 19% faster than the previous model. Shin explained, "Powerful airflow and maintaining comfort with Wind-Free have been the concepts we have pursued so far," adding, "On top of that, we have added features such as controlling airflow using radar sensors and Motion Blades."

The design has also been revamped. The Bespoke AI Wind-Free Combo Gallery Pro has a width that has been reduced by about 30%, and protruding parts have been minimized. The front features a metal panel, while the sides use a fabric pattern. Kim emphasized, "If last year's residential interiors aimed for clean and minimal spaces, this year they are shifting toward reflecting each user's individual taste and sensibility," adding, "We wanted to present a harmonious design that does not stand out in the space, while capturing both the trends and the evolution of Wind-Free technology."
The Bespoke AI Wind-Free Combo Gallery Pro will be available in four colors: Essential White, Essential Plum, Satin Greige, and Misty Gray, with prices ranging from 4,020,000 won to 7,300,000 won including installation costs. The Bespoke AI Wind-Free Combo Pro Wall-Mount, which is released as a single model in white, is priced at 1,610,000 won including installation costs.
