[Tomorrow's Weather] Fine Dust in Capital Region 'Bad'...Rain and Snow in Some Areas

Jeju Island will see rain between the late night and early morning hours, and rain is expected in Seoul and the northern and southeastern parts of Gyeonggi Province in the morning.


In other parts of the greater Seoul area, inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon Province, the Chungcheong region, North Jeolla Province, and the coast of South Jeolla Province, there will be places where raindrops of less than 0.1 mm fall or where snow flurries of less than 0.1 cm are seen.


The expected rainfall in northern and southeastern Gyeonggi Province, inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon Province, Seoul, and Jeju Island is all under 1 mm.


The expected snowfall is less than 1 cm in northeastern Gyeonggi Province and around 1 cm in inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon Province.


Morning lows will range from -4 to 4 degrees Celsius, and daytime highs from 5 to 15 degrees, which is higher than the seasonal averages (lows of -11 to 0 degrees and highs of 2 to 9 degrees).


By region, the weather (low~high temperatures, in degrees Celsius) will be approximately: Seoul (0~8), Incheon (0~6), Suwon (-1~8), Chuncheon (-4~7), Gangneung (2~11), Cheongju (-1~10), Daejeon (-2~11), Sejong (-2~10), Jeonju (1~12), Gwangju (2~13), Daegu (-2~14), Busan (4~14), Ulsan (-1~15), Changwon (2~14), and Jeju (8~15).


The atmosphere will be very dry along the East Coast and in the mountainous areas of Gangwon Province, as well as in parts of the Gyeongsang region, and winds are expected to be strong, so caution is advised regarding fires.


Fine particulate matter concentrations are forecast to be at a "Bad" level in the greater Seoul area, Yeongseo in Gangwon Province, the Chungcheong region, Daegu, and North Gyeongsang Province, and at a "Moderate" level in other regions. However, in the greater Seoul area, Yeongseo in Gangwon Province, and the Chungcheong region at night,


levels are expected to temporarily reach "Very Bad," while Yeongdong in Gangwon Province is expected to reach "Bad" at night.
