Samhwa Paint's Operating Profit Halved Last Year: "High Exchange Rates Reduced Earnings"

On February 2, Samhwa Paint announced that its consolidated annual operating profit for 2025 was 9.5 billion won, a decrease of 49.7% from the previous year.

During the same period, revenue fell by 1.8% to 617 billion won, while net profit declined by 49.7% to 7.8 billion won.

Due to a downturn in the construction sector and the overall industry, sales saw a slight decrease, and the continued high exchange rate environment led to a significant drop in operating profit.

A Samhwa Paint representative stated, "Despite the industrial downturn, our key business items such as repainting have maintained their market share, and it is positive that both domestic and overseas affiliates have demonstrated potential. We are conducting research and development on various new businesses and products to strengthen our market dominance and grow into a comprehensive chemical company."
