Dong-Eui Science University Holds DIT Industry-Academia Awards, Highlights Outstanding Partner Companies

Sharing Employment, Field Training, and Global Cooperation with Over 60 Partner Companies

Dong-Eui Science University (President Kim Youngdo) announced on February 2 that it held the '2025 DIT Industry-Academia Awards' at Hotel Nongshim in Busan on January 21.

The 'DIT Industry-Academia Awards' is an event designed to strengthen ongoing collaborative relationships with industry-academia cooperation committee members and to solidify the partnership system between the university and businesses. The purpose is to encourage outstanding partner companies for their contributions and to promote mutual growth based on trust.

The event was attended by representatives from more than 60 companies that have established industry-academia partnerships with Dong-Eui Science University. Awards were presented to companies that have contributed to the development of the university and student education.

The awards were divided into several categories, including Outstanding Partner Company Awards (Employment, Industry-Academia Cooperation Participation, and Scholarship Donation), Outstanding Field Training Company Award, Industry-Academia Capstone Best Mentor Company Award, and Global Partner Company Award.

For the Outstanding Partner Company Award in the employment category, Joeun Gangan Hospital, Bongsaeng Memorial Hospital, and Haeundae Bumin Hospital were selected. The industry-academia cooperation participation category was awarded to Seonglim Engineering Group and Hyosung Senior Health Center, while the scholarship donation category recognized Iveco Group Korea and Korea Tech.

The Outstanding Field Training Company Award went to Korea JST Co., Ltd., and the Industry-Academia Capstone Best Mentor Company Award was given to Ncom Co., Ltd. and Dongbang Medical Co., Ltd. The Global Partner Company Award was presented to Geumgwang Hi-Tech Co., Ltd.

President Kim Youngdo of Dong-Eui Science University stated, "Industry-academia cooperation is the most important driving force for the joint growth of universities and businesses," adding, "We will continue to do our best to foster regional industry development and nurture outstanding talent through practical, field-oriented education and close industry-academia cooperation."
